Four friends, Stavros, Tom, George and Nick, all with academic background, business momentum and ambitious vision got together and founded DataScouting in 2012. Their value thrived on high quality services, excellence based on innovation through research development and implementation to help companies succeed.

R&D: innovation & investment

Our main research interests range from artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for knowledge discovery to information retrieval and automatic content annotation.

Milestones

April 2018: Granted the EU funded DACHS project (Data-driven Approach to Countering Hate Speech), jointly with EJC.
February 2018: Introduced Ad Monitoring, our new tool for print advertisement monitoring.
November 2017: Awarded three projects under the single RTDI State Aid Action “Research – Create – Innovate”.
October 2017: Sophia Karakeva, our Marketing and Communications Executive was re-elected Vice President of FIBEP.
July 2016: One of the founding members of Technopolis Cluster, the 1st ICT cluster in Greece.
June 2016: Exclusive reseller of MagicBox in Greece.
January 2016: NEM Member
October 2015: Completed four digitization and software development projects in academic libraries of a total budget of more than half a million euros.
February 2015: AMEC Associate Member
March 2014: FIBEP Associate Technical Member.
January 2014: We secured a major project ICT4Growth program, co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund). For this project, DataScouting will use machine learning technologies to monitor audio-visual and internet media streams.
